If your tutor can't hear anything that you are saying, then it's likely that your audio settings are not correct.
Follow these steps to check your audio settings:
- Check to make sure your microphone is not on mute.
- Try using earphones
- Check that the Cambly App has access to your device’s microphone
On most devices you can follow one of these pathways:
iOS: Settings>Privacy>Microphone switch the toggle on for Cambly
Android: Settings>Applications>Permissions> toggle on the microphone
- Check that no other applications are using the microphone
- Restart your device
- Log out, uninstall and reinstall the app
*There are many devices and brands out there so there may be other reasons why the audio output on your device isn’t working. You could check the user guide for your device to see if there are any other troubleshooting steps that you could take.
If your tutor can only hear some of what you are saying then it is likely that you have a connection problem.
