Availability
To find tutors that are free when you are, click <Schedule a lesson> from your dashboard and enter your availability. Then, you will only see a list of tutors who have lesson slots open on that day and time.
Learning goals
For the best matches, but not necessarily the most results, go to the Tutors tab and use both the filters and keywords to narrow down your search.
Type a specific word to find tutors that match the expertise, interests, or backgrounds you're looking for. Here are some examples:
Hobbies: travel, music, sports, reading books, cooking
ESL Qualification: ESL, TEFL, TESOL, TESL, CELTA
English Skills: grammar, reading, writing, pronunciation, accent reduction
Exam Prep: IELTS examiner, TOEFL, Eiken preparation, TOEIC
Work Experience: sales, hiring manager, paramedic, finance, police
Personality & Style: fun, structured, encouraging, rigorous
Country/Language/Region: Japan, Portuguese, Wales

Click on the tutor's profile. Read carefully and watch their introduction video to see what they're like. This way you can confirm that the tutor has the personality, professional experience, and skills you need.
Stay in touch
Save tutors you're interested in working with by clicking the bookmark icon (). Then, you'll never have to search for them again.
Also, feel free to message tutors to ask questions about scheduling or let them know what you want to focus on before a lesson.
